I don't know how this product got good reviews. When I put it on my 2018 Fire HD8, the case was so tight that it kept the volume and power buttons pressed, making them unresponsive. I can't use my tablet if I can't turn it on! Makes the tablet completely unusable in a case. I like the rough nature and I like the kickstand on the back. The value for money is there, unless it makes the tablet's buttons unusable. UPDATE: I used a knife to cut off the sides of the case covering the power and volume buttons and the buttons are now easily accessible and don't pop out from constant pressing. I also added a few cutouts in each of the corners (see image) to make it easier to remove and insert the tablet without bending the screen. I noticed it was REALLY difficult as other people have mentioned and the event was discoloring the screen when inserting and removing.
