This luggage rack folds away when not in use and is surprisingly strong when assembled. It has a soft hard bottom and a metal frame around all outside edges. I thought the hanging ball of yarn was just a gimmick, but our cat loves it and clearly disagrees. We bought two and connected hoses (one into the other) on long car trips so our cat could sit in one carrier in the back seat and his litter box could sit in another behind the split back seat. One reviewer said the zippers break easily so we're being careful with that, but there weren't any issues.
