This item connects 3-pin fan, not 4-pin fan as stated in the product description.
It is important to note that this item connects three 3-pin fans, NOT one 4-pin fan as stated in the product description. I used it to connect an extra 3-pin fan to my PSU's SATA connector. , works perfectly. Like I said if you try to add a 4 pin fan it won't work.
