Thoughtful Design Lesson

Pros: Great looking pencil case with a bit of thoughtful design thanks to internal support, end loops, decorative metal zipper to match the understated design language and leather zipper. Cons: For a bag, this can be considered expensive. Bottom Line: If you want a bag that looks good, feels good and most importantly works, look no further. Every once in a while a great product comes along and it's so good you don't even think about it. For some reason I decided to think about it today, ONE YEAR AFTER PURCHASE. Simply put, this is my favorite standalone case that I own. With its slim design, it disappears in any pocket you put it in. Pull tabs at the end provide a natural grip when opening and closing the zipper. And although the zipper took a little time to unzip, it feels great even as it moves around its curve. The seams inside are still tight with no signs of wear. The inner lining that covers the fabric acts as a support that allows the pouch to maintain its attractive slim shape, allowing it to open and reveal what you have inside with no fuss. I understand it's a pencil case. But if all the care and engineering that went into that bag were in more of the things I own, those things would be better for him. Most bags are usually fabric with a zipper. Essentially, this performs the same function as these pouches. What sets it apart from the rest is that it feels good and is easy to use.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
