So - before you buy this, make sure you understand that this is NOT a wicker basket. It appears to be made of hollow plastic threads. At the same time, I received the basket, and the edges were already worn, there were pockmarks in the plastic threads on the sides (so I know that they are hollow). Instead of using it for hot bread (I'm not comfortable with plastic), I use it as a bath basket. This basket isn't the best, but it's not the worst either.
