This is our second Tuga sun hat. We chose red ticks for our preschool son a year or more ago. We all liked how it looked, how durable it was, and how secure it was in protecting our face and neck. If you're a California-born Scottish Irishman, sun protection is key! A chin strap is also a great thing for an active guy. A few months ago, when the red didn't really match [but still looked new], I asked him what he wanted for a new hat. "This one, but green!" Done. Works as advertised, durable, looks good, good price. Anything mom wants. For the record, my toddler is DIFFICULT with things. Greenie gets ready to wear it just as well [hopefully for as long!] as Red—to parks, pools, and the Pacific.
