I bought it in February 2016 but didn't use it until recently. I figured it would be good to have it for rain in the warmer months and use over the cotton duvet I already have for rain/snow in the colder months. I am extremely disappointed! It's finally raining after a severe drought here in average Tennessee. The rug kept my Perlino mare dry after a rainy day, but after the second day in a row she got wet underneath. And after a pair of socks, there are holes in the top of both scarves. In comparison, my bay mare also had an Intrepid International Free Runner blanket, but with a medium poly fill; I bought this in January 2016 and not only has it kept my mare absolutely dry, it has no holes in the top of the headscarves.
