Beautiful hat! Runs big

I measured my head with a measuring tape and got the large and was still too big. I added the strips that it came with to size down and it didn’t help much. I have an average size head and wear lots of hats. I was unable to return it because I had already removed the tag. However it’s a beautiful hat that came packaged extremely well. I received so many compliments. I will be buying different color only in a medium. Hopefully fits better.
