Review on 🚗 -Compatible Headlight Assembly for DODGE Ram Driver Side (TYC 20-6234-00) by Brandon Havlicek

The product looks and works well until you turn on the left turn signal with the headlights on. At this point, you will most likely get a "Lamp Error" message. I read about it in the reviews when I bought the unit and tested it after installing it, but couldn't test it with the headlights on. Everything was working great until I was driving at night with the headlights on about a week later. That's when I discovered the problem. Unfortunately I threw away the old headlight together with the indicator cartridge. I kept the old halogen bulb but that didn't solve the problem. I ended up spending $30 on a new OEM cartridge which solved the problem. Apparently the new socket is not the correct impedance, causing the on-board computer to think the bulb is blown. I would recommend this light but keep any old parts until you are sure it is working properly.
