Review on ๐Ÿธ Cocktail Shaker Recipes: Comprehensive Guide for Mixologists by Loren Jacobson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Too early to give an honest rating

I'm still rating it. Aesthetics impress the guest. My first impression of the feel and weight was that it was a bit flimsy compared to my other shakers. I've used it at work along with my Boston shaker and my simple two-piece cobbler style. Shakers that I love and have been using for at least 15 years. I've shaken thousands of cocktails in it. Each new shaker is of course compared to the two that are heavier and stronger. I paid $15 for it at Williams Sonoma almost 20 years ago. I have to keep in mind that this one only costs $13. While this new one is still difficult to separate after shaking. It should get better as I break it in. Also, the lid is too loose. I have to make sure my index finger is secure before shaking it and I have to twist it when I put it on to secure it. Trade without stake! I bought this for a situation where I need to make two or three identical martinis for the same party. I will not give him negative feedback. At least not yet! I'll give it a month or so and then reevaluate it.

Pros
  • Cocktail shaker
Cons
  • Slightly torn
