My son is in second grade and I see a lot of his friends with huge backpacks. I wanted to find one that would fit all of their folders/headphones/groceries and water bottles in the side mesh pocket etc. It's perfect! He was so excited that he put his stuff in different bags (not too much so as not to lose anything). And it looks great too.
