I have been using O2Cool 5 inch fans for years at the gym, on my desk, in the bathroom, in the living room while watching TV and when traveling. The footprint and battery/USB power supply of this model are more suitable for home and travel use. The gentle breeze and quiet (not silent) motor are great for my desk. Definitely a PERSONAL fan - you can feel it just about two feet from the USB and a meter from the batteries. The O2Cool fans are built pretty well. There is usually a small screw on the battery door, but this is optional and I remove it. I usually plug it into a USB port on my PC so it doesn't take up another outlet. Works a little faster on batteries than USB, but either source works fine for me.
