iHealth takes a long time to measure, this is just one click and done. iHealth must be deactivated before you can take a new measurement, it can take a new measurement immediately and you can review previous measurements. The iHealth my colleague, friend and brother has doesn't even give accurate readings, they ALWAYS report 96.9-97.3F. Even when I tested it on the hot end of my 3D printer and set it to 101F, it reported 98.5F (and I tested it with 3 different iHealth thermometers). This matches my hot-end temp to within 0.3 F every time (tested to 95 and to 103 F). I couldn't think of any other way to do a controlled test.
