Review on Maxxis Gypsy EBIKE 26X2 1 Ebike by John Castle

This tire is awesome! I rode this tire all summer with a Diamondback Sortie 1 full suspension upgraded to Sortie 3 specification. The tire is also certified for e-bikes. I've also hit road speeds of around 80km/h on big descents. This tire rotates correctly and smoothly. It's also very quiet so you can do ninja people. LAUGH OUT LOUD. The tire provides excellent cornering traction on smooth and flat roads, better on flat surfaces. Sidewalks are like glue. Stone and gravel spots are the expected weak points of a good road tire. The tread compound feels soft to medium soft. I've also been jumping obstacles all summer, like curbs, ledges, loading docks from local warehouses, so they take abuse, just control the pressure to avoid getting pinched. Wet handling is predictable and better than other road tires I've tried. I would highly recommend this tire to any mountain biker on the road. For me there are no more expensive swallows, they work better.
