I bought 4 of these lights and need to replace them. If you have frequent power outages, even for a brief second, or if you are away from the reservoir for any length of time, I do not recommend them. The lights themselves are great in that you can control the intensity and fade them in and out. However, if you turn off the power or turn off the light for any reason, the light will return to 100% for 24 hours until you press a button on the remote to reset the program. This has caused a huge algal bloom in the tanks with these lights if you don't know you have to reset the remote every time.
