I'm really impressed with this monitor and really like it, apart from the size and weight. The first downside: It's not a thin flat screen. I have a 22" Dell monitor at work, which is much thinner and lighter. The housing behind the screen on this Acer slides back several inches thick and is quite heavy. Regardless, it's small enough to be very portable , but if you want thin and light I'd look elsewhere. However, if you don't mind a large size this monitor works great. It's well built and comes with a great stand so you can adjust it however you like : You can slide the screen up or down, tilt it forward or back, and rotate the angle right or left.Love the versatility of the stand and you can get the perfect viewing position and work with other devices in your setup together. The screen has a matte finish that eliminates glare and provides excellent visibility from any angle, even from a long distance, from all directions ar is.It offers very good brightness and deep rich colors I have a Lenovo Legion Y7000 gaming laptop (new model current generation) with a good custom screen and this Acer manufacturer has even nicer picture quality. Looks great. I also like the placement of the buttons on the right side of the monitor for changing settings. There's a special four-way Shift button that can also be pressed (it looks like a little joystick) to maneuver through the menus. In most cases, this is much better than using multiple buttons, although there are additional buttons for those who enjoy using them. There is also an Acer widget program that you can download to control monitor settings from your PC. The monitor has very thin bezels, although you'll notice that the bottom bezel is a bit thicker. This is because there are two speakers at the bottom of the monitor. I didn't know it had speakers when I got it so I was pleasantly surprised. Of course, the little extra bezel is worth it, including dedicated audio capabilities. Honestly though, the speakers sound pretty average. There is little bass and they are not very loud. Again, their presence is the icing on the cake for me, but if sound quality is important to you, you won't be impressed. Overall, I really like this monitor and I think it's good value for money. Big screen, small bezel, no glare, great viewing angles, cool stand, great control scheme and picture. It can be bulky but delivers great performance where you need it.
