Some of the Hot Wheels Track Builder sets are best used with other Hot Wheels sets, but this one is fun on its own as it is playable on its own . makes it a great gift, especially when you're not sure if the recipient already has other sets. Of course, it's also fun to play with when connected to other kits. This set includes a car. My son has other Hot Wheels cars but not all of them work well in this set. Aerodynamically designed sports cars work best. The set is easy to assemble. It takes up a lot of space but folds down thanks to the swivel base to make it a little less bulky for storage. make it through the loops which is my only issue with this toy. I wish it hadn't taken so much effort to get it working and I wonder how much of this kind of use it can handle. Overall this is a good starter kit or addition to your Hot Wheels track collection. My son enjoys this very much.
