When I received these covers I thought they would be great for my cars. First thing I found was when you put your hands on the doors to be safe, if it rained the rain would seep into the car. Living in Florida with daytime thunderstorms this wasn't great so my wife sewed magnets into the bottoms of her arms to attach to the outside of the door. it worked great. Since I bought two machines that were exactly the same (HHR) they would work for me with no safety concerns. A machine that wasn't used as much as the cover was removed after July 4th and the magnets came straight out of the material and stayed on the hood of the car. Not too happy about that. Then I noticed that the material in my hand was deteriorating. This is a terrible product as it only lasted 49 days.
