This is a good NVR system after firmware update. I've had this system for almost a year now. With the original firmware, the system was very slow and you could only watch videos in the old Internet Explorer web browser or mobile app. The system also kept logging off. Wrote to support and received new firmware. The system is a bit faster, it doesn't log me out and now you can watch videos with the Chrome plugin. The mobile app is decent but not the best interface. With a 2TB hard drive, 2 cameras recording continuously in 8K saved about 4 months of footage. 4 cameras is about 2 months. The picture quality with the 4K monitor is very good. With the motion detection sensitivity set to @40, you can catch a bird in the garden without too many false alarms. You can also mask areas that bother you to reduce unwanted alerts.
