UPDATE ---- washes very well in cold water and then I hung it on the shower curtain rod to dry. It came out EXCELLENT. Wow, love this. Some reviews said she sheds a lot. As soon as I took it out of the bag, I shook it very hard without crumbling. It had a specific smell so I washed it in a washing machine with cold water on the gentle cycle. I also read reviews that I was confused after washing. Mine looked something like this when I first took it out of the washing machine, but while it was hanging out to dry I used my fingers like a brush to fluff it back up and it worked! It's so soft, the perfect warmth and weight. I am working from home during Covid and like to have a blanket on my lap to keep warm. I definitely recommend this product. And I'll update this review as needed lol but so far I'm very happy with it and plan on buying a few more for Christmas gifts.
