Bought for our son's new 'Big Boy' bed and very glad I did! Less than a week after we bought a new bed, he developed an upset stomach and threw up on the bed. This mattress protector kept the new mattress dry, only some odor got into the mattress, but that is easily eliminated by spraying some diluted vinegar on the bad smell. The mattress pad can be easily washed in the washing machine with a little Oxiclean, it leaves no stains. I've just ordered a second one of these so we have a spare for the bed in case it happens again (spoiler alert: it happened again a few days later, but the second one hasn't been delivered yet). This second came in different packaging than the first (the first looked like the Revain picture, the second is pictured below) but the protection itself appears to be the same.
