It was exactly what I was looking for! The fabric is pleasant to the touch, matte. They don't look like shiny panties that accentuate imperfections, rather the matte finish helps conceal imperfections. Of course, solid color bottoms don't hide as well as a drawing, but this is the best I've found and I've tried MANY different bottoms over the years! I also like that they are not as long as traditional swim capris. They still cover my knees but they don't look like I'm wearing regular swim capris. So is it sexy? no But when you need protection when you're out in the sun all day on your SUP, you're unsure if your hips are chasing toddlers, or you just want a modest pair of trunks to get to the river/beach/pool. to the restaurant and not only, this is a great option!
