For a long time I thought that was stupid. I didn't think they could be very different from ordinary round-tipped cotton swabs. Does anyone else occasionally marvel at their own ability to be crazy, awesome, stupid, and fake? Usage as I've been a long time fan of black liquid cat eye/wing liner ('a long time', as in 'back to school', which I won't elaborate on except that two digits are needed to express the period of time in question year). A few months ago I finally decided to try them and they are excellent. They really help create a sharp, straight wing line. Proper drawing has never been my method. Instead, I attack my eyelid with mascara and hope for a good result. I almost never get it. So I go back with a damp cotton swab and fix up all the wobbly cosmetic atrocities I've inevitably created. Just like round-tipped cotton swabs, these pointed cotton swabs are better for creating that elusive, sharp line. They also accurately remove lipstick from non-lip areas and buff areas larger than fingers than nails.
