I bought a black stainless steel bracelet and am very satisfied. I needed a replacement band for my Inspire HR because the band it came with broke my wrist from a bad rash and it was completely unusable as a result. 1) The Fitbit device attaches to this strap the same way it attaches. to the original - with tiny quick release levers. The included extras looked just like the ones that make it up. I throw away the original tape so I just used the original tapes and it was perfect. You pull the lever down and gently pull back the strap to remove the original strap, then insert the end of this strap into the side of the Fitbit, insert the bottom end into the hole, pull the lever down slightly and press the top. and it snaps into place. It seems very secure and fits the device just like the other band. I was specifically looking for those and not the ones that just magnetize. 2) You can remove individual links on the strip. The strap was too long but after removing the 3 black links it fits perfectly. They contain a device for this. You screw a pin into the top of the stud, insert the watch into the device, line up the tiny holes on the side, and just screw it in until the pin on the other side pops out and the link snaps. I suggest doing this on a well-lit, flat surface, as you'll be working with a lot of fine detail. One of the pins rolled off the table into the unknown, never to be seen again, but luckily I didn't need it again. 3) The band looks and feels good. It looks a lot more professional than the sporty original strap.
