This pen is REALLY pressure sensitive. Those who said they weren't weren't following the instructions. (See my first picture for proof) Firstly, this pen can only use its key combination and pressure in supported applications. If the app isn't supported, you're no better off than using a regular capacitive "dumb" pen. To see which applications are supported and for which platform, please visit the SonarPen website. You can also see which apps are currently being developed for upcoming support in the future. For example, Medibang only supports SonarPen on iOS! At the time of writing this review, Android support is still in development. If you're using Android, I think Ibis Paint X is your best bet. The pen pressure and shortcut button work great on this app. Be sure to go to your in-app settings to enable SonarPen support! Here you can adjust the pressure curve and the button assignment. One more note on using this pen on Android! The palm deflection won't work, at least very unlikely. This is a hardware limitation of the Android screen. I only use a glove for palm rejection. I can't say how effective palm rejection is on Apple devices, but it's said to work much better. Something to note when using this stylus on an iPhone, I haven't tried it personally but several iPhone users have confirmed that this stylus works via a lightning port to the aux adapter. If you lost pressure sensitivity while drawing, in my case I figured Android was trying to save my ears and preventing me from using full volume with the aux connected. (You must have your media at full volume for this pen to work optimally!) If you download an app called Volume Lock and set it to keep your media volume at 100%, it will help! As you can see, this pin is on the large side. I have it alongside the Meko pen and a soda can for scales. I would like it to come with a cover to protect the flexible tip of the disc. By the way, the hard drive is your friend. If you have a regular capacitive screen, a fine-tipped stylus won't work as well as it's designed to recognize your fingertips. You don't pay attention and let him slide across the screen. I just change the screen orientation to make sure the auxiliary jack is on the same side as my drawing hand and then the cable is out of the way and it's not a problem. I would say this pen is a good choice if you have a device that doesn't support the S Pen or Apple Pencil so you can still use a smart pen! (of course not as nice, but many times cheaper)
