This tablet is suitable for beginners or hobby artists. I've been into painting and mixed media for several years and wanted to try my hand at digital art. I started looking into drawing tablets and my graphic designer friend said that Wacom is the brand that all professionals use. I read a lot of reviews and didn't buy a cheaper copy as I didn't want to struggle with durability, drivers or compatibility with my current setup (I think you get what you pay for). I wasn't wrong - this thing is well built and durable. The quality of the stylus is good and I like the way it feels on the screen. Set up was fairly easy with the information included. I haven't downloaded the included software yet, but it's a nice bonus for beginners. I can't wait to keep playing with it and see what I can create!
