Works great on an old gray trailer tube.
I have used many of these fittings to repair an old gray pipe in my trailer. The benefit is that I switch everything to Pex and when I get back to the trailer I can keep using these fittings between the Pex and Gray pipe where I stop. Nothing beats a Sharkbite customization. I highly recommend them.
