Lately I've been buying different brands of balloon pillows to find something light and comfortable to use when traveling. I had a consistent experience sleeping everywhere (e.g. hotel, safari, camping etc.). It's hard to get used to a new pillow and I can't easily travel with my regular big heavy pillows so I need something like this. This is a medium firm pillow. Pros: It's very light and very comfortable after about a week (needs breaking in). In fact, the entire pillow is Oeko-Tex certified (not just the cover). It doesn't smell/gas out at all, which seems to be felt strongly by most other balloon pillows. The entire cushion can easily be machine washed or hand washed. Cons: The filler is polystyrene, which has a toxic reputation (although see above because it's Oeko-Tex certified and doesn't smell). It's a lot shorter/smaller than I expected. If it was 2-3 cm bigger and longer, it would be much better.
