Review on SAMSUNG Galaxy Watch (46Mm by Vanchay Sangkeaw Ice ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I am amazed at how well the product is made, just magically!

Solid 5 minus! 1. I chose watches among many models. The main requirements were: the size is small, round, NFC for payments, waterproof for swimming. This model Samsung Galaxy watch 42 mm SM-R810 satisfies me (see advantages). 2. In terms of shortcomings - not a long battery life. There are models with a long battery life - but this is always at the expense of functionality or size. After the purchase, autonomy was 1.5 days. During operation, it rose to 2.5-3.0 days, taking into account the following: - I use functions - clock, notifications, steps, heart rate, measure sleep, alarm clock, nfc payments, do not disturb at night, brightness at 4. I don't use players and photo viewing. - disabled all additional communication (WiFi, GPS, NFC - turns on itself when payments are activated). - a dial from the "shop" with a black background (without any glare and "gyroscopic" effects) and without fitness sensors; Battery training (within a week after the discharge, to a minimum of 5-10%, charge up to 100%) seemed to help, but resetting to factory settings and reinstalling applications (according to the advice below) did not help. As a result, I charge on average after 2.5 days of use.

Pros
  • 1. Size 42 mm (not "huge"), round 2. Sufficient functionality for a "non-athlete" 3. Ease of use, a sufficient number of additional applications (watch faces, calculators, etc.) 4. Wireless payment (without phone) 5. Sufficient moisture protection 5 atm (you can swim, but not dive) 6. Built-in speaker and microphone (answer calls, send messages to messengers by voice through its recognition) 7. Compatibility with non-Samsung phone (not absolute, see disadvantages)
Cons
  • 1. Battery life on average 2.5 days (details in the comments) 2. Not fully compatible with non-Samsung phone: - you can not read the history of messages and mail (for me it is not critical) - do not automatically reconnect to a password-protected WiFi network (if bluetooth is lost), you need to enter the password manually (it's not critical for me, because I turn off WiFi to save battery) 3. To save battery, I would like to have the ability to close background applications on the watch (now only through the phone - the Galaxy Wearable control application)
