Great for sleeping and playing! Our kittens love it

We have two kittens (10 months and 10 weeks old) who have been constantly climbing on the door frames in the house and on the doors. They are obsessed with getting as high as possible and our other cat tower didn't suit furry little ones so we switched to this cat tower. They've been obsessed ever since! No more broken/cut door frames, hooray! I was hesitant to buy this tower as all the reviews complained about the stability. In other video/photo reviews posted it looks like they used both tie rods on the top of the tower to increase the height and it seems their ceiling is too high for this tower to be stable. If you measure how tall your ceiling is and make sure it's within recommended limits, you shouldn't have any stability issues. Our ceiling is 90 inches high and our cats have been chasing up and down for hours without fear of it falling off. We also halved one of the plastic turnbuckles for the top of the tower because it was too tall for our last home with both legs. A little wobbly, but that's the way it's supposed to be! Of course, he will tremble when two small threats chase each other up and down (: Our big cat weighs 12 pounds and the little guy weighs 3 pounds, so far no problems. If your cat weighs closer to 20 pounds or more, it can more for you to shake. The fluffy material is great for climbing, provides good grip when climbing from level to level. They love to scratch the pole as much as they like to climb on it.Our two cats love to even a big kitten to sleep in a small basket! The top level is the perfect sleeping place for our two cats.Cats can fall, be careful, but that's the way it is with a tower this high.We put a big pillow at the bottom because our Kitten is very heavy and we don't think it will fall on its feet like our big kitty. Our big cat, used to climbing and jumping, has no problem getting down, she spri Usually likes to ngt right off the top level like a maniac. Also saw another review with complaints about the "adjustment" of the platforms Smaller t The triangular platform seems difficult for larger cats to climb down, but our kitty climbs onto it from the highest platform with no problem. I wish this platform was a little bigger. This can be a problem if your cat is very large, so keep that in mind. Another review mentioned that level 4 is "literally impossible for cats to reach from level 3" which definitely depends on the cat! Our two cats climb the tower to the top with no problem (: If you're thinking of buying it, do it! This is a fantastic purchase and your kittens will love it!
