We have used this as a faultless spot when camping with a tent. We had to keep food off the tent and bugs off the food. We used a beach mat to protect the floor from the chairs. I'm only 5'2 so this worked great for me and the kid. There will be no more than two chairs and a tiny table. We leisurely enjoyed our meal and giggled as the flying and stinging insects bounced off the net unharmed. It is lightweight and very easy to install/dismantle. I could see it working great for an air mattress or thin memory foam. But the door/opening is so big that I don't know how to get a large or traditional mattress in. For two weeks he survived one camp after another unharmed, with two people moving in and out. I was sure we'd rip the mesh or zip open because it didn't feel very durable or expensive, but that didn't happen on this trip. Apart from a few spots of dirt it is like new.
