Bought the medium for our new frenchie puppy (he's only about 5lbs in the photo). He likes it! It's soft and snuggly. Haven't washed it yet so can't speak to that.My only 2 criticisms are the bottom waterproof/non skid fabric is very crinkly and noisy, which makes it seem like something that a puppy would like to chew. It's a slippery nylon, and I wouldn't expect it to be even remotely non slip, but it isn't important for us.My other complaint is that the sides aren't really any higher than the middle, so it is flat and not really "nest" shaped. I suspect that may change as it is used more and the middle part sinks, but I'd love to have fluffier edges.The puppy doesn't seem to mind, though, so still a 4 star bed. I think the medium will be fine for him to grow into, provided it lasts long enough!
