I bought these bulbs to color our Halloween decorations so I just needed them to stay red purple or orange without changing colour, to flicker or something else. I have a hard time turning the lights on and off. If I just touch them, they turn off so you can't change their position. And once I set them to the color I want, they periodically switch to blinking, sometimes multicolor, sometimes random blinking between colors. I literally have the remote next to me, I have to constantly change some of them, and sometimes they don't even listen to the remote. If they work, they're fine, but most of the time they don't work. Edit: I sent the first set back and got a new one. 8 of them work as expected, the other 2 don't work at all. So it's hit or miss, you might end up buying more than you need
