Decreased quality and design
The first set I bought about 2 years ago had barely noticeable notches, and seemed to be a higher quality plastic. The set I just bought has a large, ugly notch on both sides, and the plastic feels cheap. So much for trying to keep a consistent look buying the same brand. I won't be back for a third set.
