I give this mini pc 5 stars for hardware and 3 stars for software and potential security. Pros: PC makes no noise. We've used it for home theater streaming and it's great for that purpose - the PC is cool under normal loads. It feels quite hot under full load, but the CPU temperature never exceeded 60°C. - Rugged build, all ports are accessible and plentiful - Impressively fast processor and hard drive. Really impressive speed - Allows the installation of an additional hard drive. Cables are included and all you have to do is unscrew the back cover. Cons: - The PC is pre-activated with Win 10Pro for the user "Kingdel" with admin rights. Unable to delete user - ZoneAlarm Firewall started blocking outbound packets on 180.76.5.18:8000 immediately after installation. An IP lookup shows it is the Baidu server at baiduspider-180-76-5-18.crawl.baidu.com for no apparent reason. Blocking didn't prevent pings from showing up blocked in the ZA logs, so I decided to skip the hassle of fixing potential security issues and just factory reset Win10 from a bootable MS ISO. - The new installation worked without any problems, all drivers installed themselves. However, since the original license was digital, the product code did not come with the PC and I was unable to activate Windows after the recovery was complete. There is no recovery partition on the hard drive. MS support was useless. All in all, this is a great little car. If/when the vendor fixes the windows/security issues I'll think about it, but for now I've had to undo this via Revain.
