My dog likes to go hiking but he's cold. She'll be so restless at night, then we'll put a coat on her, and she'll lie down and fall asleep right away. But she outgrew her old coat so I bought this one. It's so easy to put on, just throw it over your back and secure it with velcro around your neck and chest. She seems warm and dry enough that we're all happy. And it has a leash hole with a lid, which is nice too. It also packs a lot less than her previous coat.
