available I spent hours searching the internet for a good quality clip and finally came across this Parcelona style which was exactly what I was looking for. I like that the teeth/teeth are wider than on thinner scratching posts and that they are very strong. I've had far too many claw clips that have broken teeth, but with this well-made hair clip, that's no problem. I also appreciated that the spring device is covered in plastic to keep it from coming loose as the spring mechanism is not exposed like some other lower quality claw clamps - it also makes for a nicer look. I was so impressed with this item that I immediately ordered a second one in the same style. I just want it in a different color (a lighter tortoiseshell version for blondes and black for darker hair). But it's such a good thing I'm really glad it's dark tortoiseshell. Excellent quality and value.
