Review on 🐾 Ark Naturals Gentle Digest Capsules: Vet Recommended Prebiotics and Probiotics for Dogs and Cats, 60 Count by Wanda Johns

My cat was diagnosed with pancreatitis which can be fatal so I desperately sought help for her that was NOT chemotherapy. This Ark Naturals Gentle Digest was recommended by a holistic pet store. I've added two more holistic store approved products and these are 2 Drops Alcohol Free Milk Thistle Seeds and PetAlive Pancreas Booster (which unfortunately is expensive but it works and I'm afraid to change it). Since cats are minds of their own and reject anything that smells "wrong" to them, I remove the tops of two capsules and add some powder along with milk thistle drops to their meal. If done carefully, the caps can be resealed for the other two meals. I feed her three times a day to spread out her intake as there is no way to swallow the whole capsule. I also feed her low fat, high quality canned cat food. The natural ingredients take longer to work, but I can say that after a few months she's back to her feline self! Luckily I found out early and I'm sure it helps too. If it were allowed I would swear I would preach against kibble because I believe (and good research backs this up) that cats and dogs need real food. Their canned food is real chicken, real duck, and real liver. Many cats recover after going raw, but she was 6 years old when I adopted her, so raw was not a good fit for her. There's no way of knowing what she's been eating for the past 6 years, so I only buy high quality pet food (Weruva and Earthborn, both available here) because she likes it. I hope this review helps others who are struggling with this terrible disease.
