I hope this review (and photo) helps customers like me who want to see the difference between the Manhattan Toy version and the Haba version. To me, the Manhattan Toy beads are the originals that I have seen in stores and at friends and I was disappointed with how small the Haba beads were. Manhattan Toy Beads: - Each ball is bigger - More balls - - More colors and smooth finish - Well made - Entertain adults and children alike for their size and movement - Large overall (bigger than my hand) - My 11-1 month old loves it and can play with it easily This works with both hands Hub Beads: - Smaller beads - Fewer beads per chain - Less colorful, two purples next to each other (which bothered me) and some color distortions in a few beads - Felt is well made, but because of the smaller size made it less fun to play with. Best suited to small children's hands but may be less interesting as they grow. beads. The Haba version fits better in a diaper bag, but the smaller size isn't as attractive for gaming.
