Great head, great documentation but bad screws

This is very innovative. We use them in the construction of wooden stairs in residential houses, in the base railing that holds the bottom of the balustrades. This is simply the best and cleanest solution. They have small "trap doors" on the inside that cover the holes in the tines to keep dirt out. They repel each other when the plug is inserted. They also come with color matched protective caps which look very pretty on. I will take some photos and update later. For our first install, we used brown to match the stain. However, the head of the very first mounting screw broke off when tightening the maple leaf. This caused a mess, it was impossible to drill out such a small screw without damaging the surrounding plastic of the socket. We now pre-drill holes for these corner screws. Because of the broken screw head, we filled these bushings with brown putty to hide those silver screws. The screws of the wiring terminals are very difficult to screw in. It's like they carve when you turn them. We found it on every socket, almost every screw. Be sure to screw them all the way in and then out before wiring. So you can hold the device in your hand and don't have to worry about cables. A little oil helped. All in all a pretty smooth rosette!
