I would recommend this mouse and keyboard Combination that they are sleek and look very nice with a Macbook. The mouse is light but works great, you don't hear a click. It uses 2 AAA batteries. The keys on the keyboard are low and almost flush with the board, but I like that. However, this might not be suitable for someone trying to learn to type without looking at the keyboard. The keyboard is wireless and charges with the included micro USB cable. My old keyboard was solar powered. I like this style better. If my solar keyboard fails mid-shift, I have to switch to my laptop keyboard so it can charge. If it were cloudy outside I would have to use my laptop keyboard for 2 days. Now I can just plug it in and keep working. Much more reliable.
