Works well! on cats
The jury hasn't decided yet. Immediately after it rolled out, our two kittens tried to walk on it. Of course, to be fair, they didn't like it, but they were very curious. They also liked to chew on small spikes. We use it to keep them away from the fireplace. Time will tell if it works. UPDATE - Mat works great! As the cats explored him, they decided they didn't like being around him. They haven't hit the chimney since we put it out.
