I'm saddened that a person is writing a review on a product they obviously don't know about. this product because you have a hole in your mouth. You can poke a hole and apply this clear, moisturizing lip mask to parts of your lips that may not be accessible if you heavily purse your lips, or you can choose not to pucker them. A general rule of thumb for any intensive skin care product is not to leave the product on for more than 10-15 minutes as this can cause skin irritation. If you leave it on for too long and start to feel some kind of irritation or dryness, that could be an indication that it actually does have the active ingredients to produce results. Too much of nothing is good! Therefore, overuse can cause dehydration or irritation. I don't use this product often so I like to keep it in the fridge with an eye mask to keep it from drying out. I take it out an hour before use so it doesn't apply cold. Each mask is just one step in professional facial care. They lie down during professional facials and they typically last 1 hour with multiple steps, preventing a product from sitting for 30 minutes. So it may not be that obvious, but the best thing to do when using it is to lie down and read the advertised times before you buy.
