Lasts longer than regular hair gel. My kids sweat when they play, and when I used hair gel to get their bangs out of my eyes, it all became a terrible mess. This product seems to hold up even when dealing with rough, sweaty messes and I can easily brush through her hair for a quick fix. It also smells great and is super easy to apply without leaving a gooey mess (little kids mean gooey messes so anything I can do to reduce these incidents is worth it). Edit to 4 Stars: This product still works great. My only gripe would be the packaging though - it would be a lot easier to measure how much I need if it was in a tub rather than a tube. It's also less wasteful since I can squeeze out every last drop instead of wasting precious minutes trying to shake out what's left of the tube. It's expensive so I won't throw anything away. But otherwise it's a great product.
