It's big! It's VERY form fitting and is unforgiving if you try to cover your tummy or butt. I actually ordered it in black and navy blue, I'm 5ft 11" and very proportional to my height. I have a dog, but it's my arms that I always struggle with. In any case, I gained 30 kilos last year due to the death of my father on 4/2020, the lower "panties" were still my usual size 22. It wasn't a big problem. I was actually able to pull it all the way down and there was a lot of loose fabric in the back. We go to the beach a lot, especially living in Florida, so I'm always on the lookout for nice swim trunks to hide some long scars on my lower back from multiple surgeries. These skirts are sexy but offer adequate coverage, perfect for the pool, beach or sunbathing, due to the material (look and texture) I would not wear it as a skirt. However, I found different ways to wear it when I first tried it on. Update 3/2020, after losing 40 pounds I had to order a few sizes smaller, I got a very bad oil burn on Christmas Eve 2020. and I am very ashamed of the large scars visible on my left foot, ankle, three fingers where I had to have an extensive transplant, but I must remember that my scar does not define me. I love this swimsuit!
