With all my kids and the many baby things we've been through it's no longer easy to surprise me especially when it comes at a high price please . I get very annoyed with children's products that actually add 0 to the price just because they are marked as "kids". When it came up in the review I was happy to get it but I already had my claws due to the price. Pros: The first thing that struck me was the size. This Pack n Play automatically grows in size so your child can use it for longer. My son has outgrown his standard packaging and is playing at 9 months. My daughter is now 14 months old and still enjoys playing with packs thanks to her size. Advantages: - 2 levels, medium or lower. The medium level is great for newborns who are sedentary and won't roll over, and moms who are just out of labour. Your back and buttocks will thank you as it is extremely difficult to bend down to pick up a baby several times a day after labour. As the child grows, the pelvis can be easily removed and the base used. ADDITIONAL ITEMS: The bottom is larger compared to the standard pack and game, which greatly increases the lifespan of this pack and game. - It folds well! So easy, I've never seen anything like it. This is really handy for active parents who move a lot, take a backpack and play with it. For those who just want to use it stationary, this might not be a big deal. - Changing table. This table is a great feature but not as perfect as the advertised 'just flip'. no After turning it over, you need to make sure that the table snaps on both sides (it attaches to the sides of the top frame). When holding a child who has just had a discharge, you should: 1. turn the table over first 2. snap it from the front3. Walk around and snap it to this side as well. Remember that because you're holding the baby and you only have one arm, you can't lean forward, so now you have to walk around. You also don't want to assume it's secured before you place the baby. Only BabyTrend got that right and delivered a truly "fold-out" table. It's a minor annoyance anyway, but it's an annoyance and it could be better. It has safety belts to secure the baby and there is absolutely no need to buy a separate changing table, everything works perfectly. Cons: No diaper organizer, side pocket, tissue holder, nothing. Nada. Don't put a wipe anywhere. BUT, they offer large diaper holders that easily attach to the side. Sold separately for $49. I don't want to lug the whole car with me when I travel. A small side pocket would make a huge difference and I could tuck some wipes and diapers in so I don't have to take them out of my suitcase. It kind of defeats the purpose of traveling light. - High price. The tray insert does not work on the bottom of the packaging. In a nutshell; For those parents who want to buy an extra mattress, you need two. One for the pool and the other, larger, for the bottom of the backpack. Although manufacturers do not recommend it, many parents are looking for softer mattresses for their little ones. Me too ✋ - It's a lot heavier than the standard package, but that's the price for a folding mechanism and more space. No complaints here, just an observation. What can I say in summary? More room than a standard backpack, meaning it lasts longer, folds easily and feels premium. All of this makes it "better" than the cheaper Pack n Play versions, but how convenient is it? Compared to the luxury baby center BabyTrend, even BabyTrend isn't that great and I would prefer it for the functionality. Yes, this one has more space and will last longer, but the first few months are the hardest, and this 'fold down' changing table meant the world to me when my baby was a baby. Also a lot of built-in storage space for travel and in general. Unless you're buying more attachments, this isn't really a one-stop grooming station. ** Personal note.
