Not suitable for shower heads
I was very surprised to learn that the filter is not waterproof. Although the assembly instructions clearly state that Teflon tape must be used, it still feels like 19th century technology. A small roll of ribbon is included on the other side. Installation is simple and convenient. Unfortunately, when we put the showerhead back on and tested it for the first time, the filter couldn't withstand the pressure of the water and broke in two. Luckily our lightbulb was the only casualty. The product was returned without much discussion. I hope this company has a good return policy.
