If you want this to hold your tablet in a car or truck, you'd better check where the car's cigarette lighter socket is. I tried installing this on a 2015 GMC Terrain, 2008 FJ Cruiser and 2008 Chevy Cruise and it just didn't work for me. The lighter block is too deep in the off-road recess, it wouldn't fit in my FJ Cruiser because the switch was in the way, and on a cruise it was completely in my lap. Just think about the location of the AC cigarette lighter socket, because if you're planning on using it for a larger tablet, it probably won't be in a good spot. This was currently tested with a 7th generation Apple 10.2 inch tablet.
