Review on Enhance Your Lighting with Philips 168WLED Ultinon LED (White), 2 Pack by Larry Blanco

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Fits 2012-15 Camry and 2010 Altima with License Plate Lights and Side Turn Signals. Very bright. Excellent price.

Helped a friend change the license plate bulbs on a 2015 Camry. Very easy to install. You simply slide out the pair of plastic frames holding the lamp housing in the trunk and either push on the housing from behind (inside the trunk behind the liner) or pull the housing out from the outside. Be sure to pull gently so you don't break the clips holding the case. Also, be sure to wear gloves as the natural oils on your hands and fingers will shorten the life of the lamp. If you are using different bulbs, be sure to swap both bulbs at the same time. Otherwise the license plate looks like David Bowie's eyes at night. On this particular car, switching to these LED lights not only improves the visibility of your license plate at night, but also improves the viewable area of the rear camera, so this is not only a great aesthetic upgrade, but also a form of safety. To update. The bulbs themselves have a very nice light bluish-white color. My friend was so impressed with these bulbs that we bought our friend a 2010 Altima Hybrid. This car was even easier to install. Open the trunk and remove the clips closest to you and the pair of clips in the center of the trunk trim. Move the liner to the side and you should see 2 lightbulbs connected by a wire. The bulbs are in a plastic socket that pops out if you turn it clockwise a quarter, but make sure you unplug the power cord first. After that, the light bulbs can be switched off very easily. A NOTICE. If you have lightbulbs plugged in and they don't work, just flip them. Apparently, the Altima's lights only come on when driving in a certain direction. Update: Apparently those are standard side marker lamps too (Star Trek joke: THERE ARE FOUR LIGHTS!). The weird thing is that most 6th gen Camrys I've seen on the road have blown tail light bulbs. I've helped half a dozen friends switch them. You need small hands to get to the motor to swap out the front kit.
