I've just ordered a second bottle of this soap and I'm so glad they're changing the bottle. Although I immediately liked the product, I honestly had no intention of ordering it again because I was so disappointed with the bottle. I bought a soap to replace this one and immediately regretted it so I decided to order another tree in the bathroom and suffer from an annoying clog prone and impenetrable bottle. I gave an audible "Ah!" when I opened this latest shipment and saw that the bottle had been replaced with a sensible foam-top pump (one that could be removed if necessary). "I already knew there was liquid gold in it. As the owner of an acne-prone, sensitive face masking my budding hippie brain, Wood-to-Bath cleanser was one of my all-time favorite finds. The gentle soapberry formula lathers and cleanses without drying out the skin. I don't normally wear makeup, but I work out and sweat with a zinc-based foundation every day. From the tree to the bath my face gets very clean every day and there was no "breaking-in" period where I had to suffer acne attacks while my skin "adjusted". My hard-earned, mostly clear skin is still there. I'm so glad I gave this product another chance: I hope one day they can up the bottle game even more by going plastic free. but I will recycle and do my best until then.
